Amati ABG 223 G/F Bugle Standard
|
Amati 223 G/F Bugle The Amati 223 G/F Bugle. This is a very nice bugle and has stood the time on the market for quite a while. Very well constructed and finished with design elements which make it not only a fine player, but an overall very attractive instrument. Amati is an old European line (Czech Republic) manufacturer of musical instruments. While in the past there was quality concerns, their quality has been consistently improving while still maintaining a great value. This appears to be a great example of that improved standard. This bugle is perfect for the adult player, the advance student, or as a fine gift for the beginning student for graduation or to mark other lifetime events.
Personal opinion: Not as fancy as the Brigadier or Getzen, but a great playing bugle for the price and worthy of any performer. Superior in playing characteristics. Very balanced in the hand. Old European craftmanship. 1st rate intonation and solid projection. Love the mouthpiece design.
